Job Title: Research Scientist, Bioanalytics (21091-09BR)
Description:
The Bioanalytical Development group within the Preclinical Sciences Department is seeking a Research Scientist to develop and implement assays to investigate in vivo pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and immunogenicity in support of non-clinical and clinical programs for the development of biologics.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, validate and implement PK, PD and immunogenicity assays to support non-clinical and clinical programs.
- Perform sample analysis, analyze, QC, and present bioanalytical data in the form of bioanalytical reports and PowerPoint presentations.
- Write analytical procedures and validation/method development reports for internal and CRO transfer support.
- Serve as a CRO monitor including:
- Method transfer, validation, and sample analysis management.
- Regulatory document review including: validation protocols, validation reports, analytical procedures, raw data, and bioanalytical reports.
- Track and adhere to timelines. Trouble-shoot to ensure that timelines are met without compromising data quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional research, analytical, pharmacology, toxicology, and clinical staff.
Job Requirements:
- An advanced degree in the biological sciences, chemistry or related discipline with at least 4 years industry experience.
- Experience in the area of assay development to support drug development required.
- Hands on proficiency with immunoassay techniques, ELISA, ECLA, protein conjugation, FACS, qPCR required.
- Experience with Meso Scale Discovery, SoftmaxPro, JMP and WinNonlin software strongly preferred.
- Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required. Experience working in a GLP environment will be considered.
- Excellent analytical skills, superior written and oral communication skills, as well as demonstrated ability to work both independently and in team setting required.
